Dark purplish-blue fruit similar in appearance to a blueberry has a sweet-tart taste with a hint of almond. Can be used the same as blueberries. Shrub reaches 6-10 feet in height and width. Displays profusion of white flowers in spring. Drought-tolerant but does better with regular watering.
