Agave, Burnt Burgundy
 Agave pelona

This is an exciting new natural hybrid from Greg Starr. It is likely a cross of A. victoriae-reginae pelona. It matures slowly and reaches maturity at 12 to 16 inches high as well as wide. It is hardy to 20 degrees F but demands excellent drainage. The leaves are a soft, blue-gray with a distinct burgundy edging on each leaf. Excellent choice for a container.
