‘Summer Chocolate’ Mimosa

This fast growing, deciduous tree has a wide, umbrella shaped canopy with beautiful bronze-green, fern-like leaves appearing in late spring. The foliage color deepens to a rich chocolate burgundy color in summer, and requires at least all morning sun to do so. Scented clusters of pink, powderpuff blooms attract butterflies. Once established, needs only occasional watering.
Average landscape size: 20 ft. tall, 15 ft. wide.
