False Yucca
Hesperaloe parviflora var. parviflora

More often called Redflower Yucca, this plant is not a yucca and only the blooms are red. When in bloom, it is a great plant for hummingbirds, bees and night moths since the blooms remain open day and night. The plant is viable in USDA zones 5a to 10b and demands good drainage. It is xeric in nature and drought-tolerant once established. It will require a deep soaking every other week or so to produce blooms.
