Sorrel
Rumex acetosa

“Cut and come again” crop with large, arrow-shaped leaves. Also known as spinach dock, sorrel is a longstanding favorite in Europe for both culinary and medicinal uses. Its mildly sour, tangy flavor is delicious addition to soups or salads. Large tough outer leaves can be used as food for rabbits or fowl. Virtually disease- and insect-free. Can be propagated from section cuttings.
