‘Pink Lady’ Apple

Pink Lady apples originated from a breeding program in Australia. They are just about our favorite apples! The trees are extremely drought and heat tolerant, and the fruit is sweet, with a slight tangy taste, ripening in October. Pink Lady apples are sold in supermarkets all over the US, and these apples thrive in the climate of the southern states! Does not tolerate temperatures below 5 degrees. Self-fruitful, but pollinates best with Granny Smith or Gala.

Needs about 400 - 600 chill hours. Zones 7-9.
