Olive, Montra
Olea Europaea “Montra” AKA “Little Ollie Dwarf”

This non-fruiting Olive is an exceptional drought-tolerant choice for evergreen hedging in USDA zones 8 through 11. It is classified as the only true dwarf olive so it can also be utilized well as a container plant. The shrub exhibits vigorous growth and can reach 4 to 6' tall and wide in just a couple of years. The silver and green leaves have a gentle, fluid movement in soft breezes. But don’t be fooled by the appearance: This is a hardy, xeric shrub that is at home in the central Texas landscape.
