Blackberry, Arapaho
Rubus fruiticosus “Arapaho”

Also known as bramble, this thornless variety is an excellent all-around blackberry, sweet-flavored and firm, and one of the earliest-fruting varieties. Easy to grow; reaches 4-5 feet in height; needs no trellis. For maximum fruit production, grow in full sun. Tolerates dry periods but should get an inch of rain or irrigation per week while the fruit are developing. Blackberries prefer well-drained soil and 2-1/2 to 3 feet of unrestricted rooting area.
